Carmer, Carl. Stars Fell on Alabama. [A signed pamphlet.] Illustrated by Cyrus LeRoy Baldridge. New York: Farrar & Rinehart, Inc., 1934. [26] pages, including the covers. Printed on brittle yellow paper. The front cover is identical to the title page of the author's 1934 first edition by the same title. The second leaf (2 pages) are unnumbered and have a page-and-a-half essay by Carmer starting: "These addenda to the story of my life and adventures in the strange land of Alabama...." At the end of this essay in ink in the same hand "Number 30" and signed by Carl Carmer. The remainder of the pamphlet's text is identical to pages 275-294 of the 1934 book. Edges slightly browned and worn. Included is a slightly worn first edition cloth copy of "Stars Fell on Alabama." #19624. $480
