Both volumes have been rebacked. The original gilt title labels have been restored on the spines, and the spines each have seven horizontal gilt double-rules. The corners and edges on both volumes are slightly worn. On the lower back cover of v. 2 there is about a small 3-inch scratch, which appears to have been taken care of in the restoration. Both volumes have their original endpapers. Very slight foxing. Volume 1, pages 385-400, show some water stains along the blank margins. #11688. $225
